How long have you been writing?
I have been writing since about 3rd grade! I penned my first book (which hasn’t been published) in 1998.
I’ve always had a love for words–I used to read the dictionary for pleasure. I seriously considered writing as a
career while I was working as a school social worker. To escape the stress of my job I wrote a novel, and
found the writing process to be very therapeutic.
What was your experience regarding creating a cover. Did you try to make one yourself?
My experience in creating a cover was searching the web for a cover designer. I did explore trying to make a cover myself,
but I do NOT enjoy the technical process. As a result, I decided to hire someone who loved designing and
was passionate about his or her work!
How did you find Peter?
I found Peter while I was searching the web for a new designer.
Did you have any fears or reservations when searching for a designer?
Yes, I had fears about a new designer in terms of professionalism. My main concern was getting my
design back in a timely manner.
What attracted you to BespokeBookCovers?
I was attracted to Bespoke by the different variety of covers that had been designed. I saw all genres of
books which indicated versatility. I liked that.
What was the process like working with them?
The process was pretty straightforward, and simple. I was able to get changes to my design until I was
completely satisfied with the cover!
How did you feel about the result?
The result met and exceeded my expectations! My cover is absolutely awesome!
What difference has the next cover design made to your success?
I think when you start with an amazing cover you are able to draw attention to your book, which could
generate increased sales. I feel like my cover design will help to draw new readers and
ultimately propel my writing career to higher heights!
